Was supposed to meet Aishah, Anthea and Rossaini yesterday for dinner, but Aishah’s small little cookie (her son) fell sick – running fever, so our appointment was cancelled. So my meeting with Sg was resumed as normal (coz I was supposed to meet Sg on Thursday ahahahah).

I have been buying shoes recently. Somehow, a little crazy over them. Buying them w/o thinking if I have spare cash (since I’m paying my own school fee, piano lesson fee etc..). Collected the very “high” heels which I reserved a day before from Gripz @ Tanjong Pagar during lunch hour yesterday. Then, in the late evening, went window shopping with Sg at Far East and I saw another very nice pair of wedge which I can wear for work. Too bad they don’t have it in black for my size anymore..

After thinking about that pair of wedge since yesterday till today, keep on telling Sg that I like the heel very much, he said he’s sponsoring $50 for the shoe. Immediately, I called Gripz @ Tanjong Pagar and the sales person said she don’t have anymore stock for my size too!! A little disappointed.. The very nice her offered to call other outlets other than Far East to check since she can do it more faster. 5 mins later, good news came. Marina Square has one last pair!!! hohoho….

Hmm.. I’m actually a little guilty to have Sg to sponsor $50 for me… I will repay him when I start earning big bucks!!

Another incident.. Someone from mindef (maybe other mindef la..) gave Mdm Yeo’s number (which is the same number as my mobile number) to a few people.
They called me and say: “Hi Mdm Yeo.. Blar blar blar..”, never stop to let me explain they got the wrong number.
When they finally stopped, I said: “Sorry, u got the wrong number”.
Then they ask: “You not Mdm Yeo? 9XXX XXXX right?”
Me: “Number correct, but no such person”. (hello, people not married leh..)
He and he: “But its Mindef who gave me this number”.
Me: “I think Mindef is giving the wrong number because there’s a few people called me to look for Mdm Yeo as well”.

I believe my mobile number used to belong to one army personnel. Since there are more than 2 calls looking for Mdm Yeo, I decided to call Mindef to inform them that they have given the wrong number. When I called, the operator asked me “which Mindef, Mindef got a lot of meaning”. I thought there’s only ONE Mindef?? And the people called and telling me army related thing mah, so I assumed it’s the Mindef (SAF). He also said there’s nothing he can do because Mindef itself is very very big. So he advised that the only thing I can do is, if someone call again and say it’s Mindef who gave them my number, ask them for their name and i/c number and which dept they belong to, then call back to Mindef. I was like “huh!~”, when you call wrong number, and the other party ask you for your i/c number, you will give meh??

Then I called up Dennis and Keith to check with them if Mindef got other meaning or not, coz I scare the Mindef those callers referring to is another Mindef (maybe different spelling la). Both of them told me Mindef only one meaning mah..

Anyway, it’s over. After I called up Mindef, nobody called to look for that Mdm Yeo anymore. Maybe the last person did inform the dept of Mindef which gave the wrong number.

Looking forward to collect my new shoe and!! Something more important, I need to rush out my assignment!!!!!! *die liao*
