July 28, 2008 at 11:38 pm | In family, wedding | Leave a CommentAttended 3rd Uncle’s wedding at Lagun Sari yesterday. As he married a muslim wife, the wedding was held both in the muslim and chinese tradition (to compromise both parties). The decoration of the place was really classy and nice.

Spotted Changkat ex-principal, Mr Lak.
While taking pic of 6th aunt, I spotted Mr Chia (Changkat teacher). Sg and me spotted a lot of the other Changkat teachers such as: Ms Ling, Mrs Loke, Mr Sin, Mrs Tan, etc…. Some ex-students of Changkat were there too!

The King and the Queen of the night!
Just before we went to Lagun Sari again in the evening for dinner, had a *ma lu* incident at the carpark. A toyota camry rushed and dashed into the slot which we waited for quite awhile. Sg horned him so many times but he ignored us. I was so angry that I actually got out of Sg’s van (w/o closing the door) and went towards the car. The car owner winded down the window and I go “Uncle! We came here for the slot first leh! We are already there since just now!”. After finishing my sentence, I find him very familiar. Guess what?! He’s my secondary school PE teacher, Mr Oh! hahahaha.. *super ma lu* – I mean me.
Then I faster continue my next sentence “Mr Oh right?? Sorry, but we came for the slot first”. And so, he replied “Okay, what to do?” and returned us the slot. He’s nice that he actually returned the slot to us, so I assumed he did not notice us in the first place bah…
It’s Sg’s Bday today!

No present for him on actual day as I have already got it for him during the IT Show.

The Samsung LCD Monitor. I got him the 21.6 inch.
Sg dote on me!! Hehe.. Last year, I got myself a Long Champ Le Pilage bag using Robinson vouchers, but, got the wrong size. I was so 舍不得 to spend SGD174 hard cash to get another one. Then, Sg got me the correct size Long Champ Le Pilage from Frankfurt (with the help of his classmate).
It will be put into good use when I go travelling. hehehehe..

Sex and the City OST

Had lunch at PSA (Tanjong Pagar) yesterday with Bell. I will never going to patronise the D’Shiok Cafe with that kind of rude attitude.
Results out
July 15, 2008 at 7:52 pm | In exam, friends | Leave a CommentQing Hua told me that RMIT results will be out on the 14 July. So the anxious me logged into the school website to check it out the very first thing yesterday morning. I have got a credit for Tpt Mgmt and a distinction for Tpt Econ.
Then after work, met up with Adrian and Janet at Bedok Interchange to walk over to Yihong’s place where his father’s wake was held. Recalling what Yihong’s mom told us about his dad while on our way home together after the hospital visit, I was pretty much affected and a few times my eyes were filled with tears that I nearly cried out loud. I don’t know what to say when I saw his mom yesterday (coz I really think his mom is a very nice person – very motherly to us too), all I did was to greet her. I know if I were to open my mouth, I will start crying instead. So emotional huh? I also don’t know why.
Been busy at work recently, so much things to do and clear.
I want my family, sg, friends and me to have good and better health!!!! *screams*
Birthday Party
July 13, 2008 at 4:18 pm | In birthday, friends | Leave a CommentYesterday was Bell’s belated birthday party and it was held at Amaryllis Ville. Woke up in the early morning to return back to office to clear some work, then to PS for fringe hair cut (I’ve got a nerdy look now) and to Carrefour (PS) to meet Bell and her girls. Took 2 separate cabs to her place and we started busy with packing, washing the utensils, photo taking and cooking. Everyone was pretty co-orperative to help out with different chores.

Then we abandoned Bell all alone in the kitchen to do the cooking for our lunch and start photo taking.
The spagetti is delicious.

Each of us designed on average about 3 cup cakes but Angela and Shirmaine did only 1.

Make up time! Everyone busy preparing for the night theme.
Notice almost everyone in pink? The day theme is Strawberry shortcake as Bell baked a Strawberry shortcake.

Almost Bedridden

Supposed to go for the Hancock movie organized by TruMarine, but I’m too weak to step out of the house, so passed the 2 tickets to Sg to go with his cousin. Anyway, Sg said the movie isn’t as nice as he thought but Bell said the movie is nice!
There’s a sudden trend of people around me planning or getting new phones.. I’m so tempted to get one too hahhaa!! BUT I just got mine in the beginning of the year. So a “NO” from Sg..
