Doggies Day
May 4, 2009 at 11:58 pm | Posted in ceejay, family, stitch | Leave a commentYesterday, Sis and Florence decided to bring the two doggies out to ECP for some run before sending them for their usual sunday morning shower. So, I decided to miss my piano lesson and tagged along.
Attendees: Sis, Bro-in-law, Stitch, Jz, Florence, Ceejay, Eric & me.
Had breakfast at the Beach Hut (it’s pretty expensive, should have gone for McDonald instead) and I finished mine first. So took Ceejay for a walk first. Soon, Stitch came along too! The two dogs seemed to enjoy themselves very much that day.

Anyway, my laptop died on me yesterday night. Screammed for Eric for “SOS” and he says “your hardisk totally cannot read leh”. ~sob sob~
Can’t accept the fact… I keep on calling Sg on his mobile.
And today, he picked me after work and off we went to Sim Lim Square. He got me a CPU. hehehehe.. *smiling happily*
Night Out
May 2, 2009 at 3:16 am | Posted in friends, outing | Leave a commentFeeling super duper bored on a Labour Day, I msned Hui Ting at about 8pm if she’s going anywhere. She replied that she’s meeting Sanjay for dinner and ask if I wanna join. Of course it would be nice since I’m dead bored! hahahaha..
It’s been such a long time since I last went out at night. They picked me up at about 9pm and we went over to ECP for dinner (though I already had mine at 5.30pm with my parents at the coffeeshop). Then to Marina Square – Xin Wang Restaurant for dessert and we met up with Sanjay’s friend, Gabriel. And finally to Bugis – Lai Lai something for some drink with another friend of Sanjay’s, Jason.
I was feeling pretty stoned most of the time as I usually sleep quite early ever since the facial outbreak. It was a nice outing. I’m missing those days when I’m still in the poly, meeting out with Lester and friends for supper every weekends!
Now, I’m looking forward to meet up with the jewels for the ktv session! *planning*
Labour Day

Rebonded my hair last Friday and I looked so much neater now.
Went to GG>5 yesterday with Florence and I bought 2 cardigans. Then to Suntec with Florence and Jody. I bought one nice Tee from Mango at SGD25! What a great deal.
I feel like going to KTV!!!
New Skin
April 29, 2009 at 12:07 am | Posted in facial, partner, random, work | Leave a commentOn some random occassion, I logged into wordpress looking for some nice skins and *te-teng*, I found one! So greeny. I love it! (M1 advert). hehehehe!
Last week, MD sent an email to us. Everyone will be “entitled” to one day unpaid leave per month, starting from May 2009 till further notice. Oh well, it’s better than retrenchment, pay adjustment (or to be exact, pay-cut) or even more unpaid leave. Big boss is trying real hard to secure us with the job. I really hope the economy gets better soon.
After my face complexion got better (nearly flawless) for a week, it started peeling badly due to dryness and even the superintendents ask me what happened to me. I was v. v. v. demoralised. It was painful as well. Luckily Sg managed to free out some time to bring me to the doctor again on the recent Friday and she changed a new set of medication for me. The medication works on me pretty fast this time and I hope it will recover smoothly.
Anyway, I will be going for a short getaway in June! I’m getting real excited. It’s been like 9 years since I last stepped out of Singapore??? Hopefully by the time, no more Swine Flu or whatever flu bah.

Yesterday:
I finally visited the Jurong Point (extension) with Sg, Florence and Jz. There are many shops and it was especially good because they have 24hrs NTUC.
Today:
Went over to Grandma’s place after piano lesson. 5th aunt helped me to colour my hair black. I think I still love black hair afterall. Grandma saw my complexion and says “come, ah ma see”. Then she turned my face left and right and says if she should buy some chinese medicine (meant for detox) for me but too bad I’m taking the western medicine at the moment.
The moment when my grandma says “come, ah ma see”, I felt like a little children once again under the care of my grandma.
Anyway, I kena-ed bird shit this afternoon.. How unlucky.

I have been crazy over shoes, umbrellas and bags.. This time, I’m crazy over hairbands!!
As my facial complexion gets worst again, I decided to get some nice hairbands that I can use for work to comb up my hair.. I really love the hairband I bought today!
Was on half day MC today since I have got very bad headache plus slight fever and I’m unable to concentrate to do my work. Took a bus home so that I can sleep on the bus. Fed Ceejay when I reached home.
Just when I’m geting ready for a shower, a moth flew into the bathroom. I went in to “chase-out” the moth. The moth flew out and started flying everywhere. Soon, something greyish-black hit my head, then on my hand and finally on the floor. Ceejay was beside me and ran towards that greyish-black thing. It was a BIG LIZARD ARHHHHH!!!
I panicked and ran as far as I could from the lizard but that Ceejay insisted to play with the “new friend” and ignored me even when I call her for biscuit. I thought to myself – “I MUST SAVE CEEJAY!!“, so, I ran in, lifted her up and ran out from the kitchen as fast as I could. Didn’t get to shower, slept in the living room with the kitchen door closed.
The headache went off soon after I took the medicine from the doctor. Went to Tampines 1 with Mom, Sg, Florence and Jz for a window shop. Had dinner at Sakae Sushi @ Century Square. Then home sweet home..
Random Health Check
April 11, 2009 at 10:28 pm | Posted in family, health, partner, shopping | Leave a commentThe company arranged for a free test on the recent Thursday. As usual, I’m always under the Under Weight category. The bad thing is, I’m way too under-weight liao.
I’m not sure how accurate was the test. On the checklist, it indicates that if BMI < 18.5 it’s “Underweight”. My BMI reading was 15.5. Then, another section it says “Standard body fat range for female under 30 years old is 17% to 24%”, and I have got 25.5%. My body fat exceeded the standard range. Karen asked me “Alice, where did your 25.5% fat goes??”. ahahahaha!!
Anyway, just returned home from some shopping *happy me, unhappy sg*. I psycho-ed Sg to get me a pair of DUPE flip flops from NUM. It’s super comfy but I don’t have spare cash la… Hehehee…
Had dinner with the family at Bugis today. Mom’s treat!
Window Shopping

Time for piano practise! Can’t practise too much later as the neighbour will be having the baby full-month party for their first kid.
When Small thing turns Big

I have learnt a lesson. Never to trust anyone anymore.
